From what I've heard, there's no reason whatsoever to want to do the sandbox stuff in Mafia 2 between missions, and the average mission entails 7:30 video, 8 minutes of driving there, only 3minutes of which at high speed, and less than a minute's worth of shooting.  Approx 2-3hrs worth of decent play, including the 40% video time.  This on top of the fact there's no multiplayer, or reason to go back through the game again.  While it may or may not play awesomely, that short of time I just can't justify for even a half price game, let alone full price.  Call me when it's on sale for $10.

Glad you gave me the heads up on Kane and Lynch, although the multiplayer is meant to be pretty swanky.

Starcraft 2, while the singleplayer mode is that short, there's an awesome multiplayer part - Nexus Wars anybody? Cheesy

Trouble, find a female. A low power blower, with optional heating, perfect for you I think.

Haters gonna hate.

I'm loving the game. Mafia was one of my favorite games back in 2002, the is like a injection of nostalgia straight to the heart.

Mafia. The great enigma od 2002. I liked the game, I enjoyed the story, cimantics and a lot of stuff about it. However, the driving part of it was really confusing. It served no purpose at all. You were unable to speed up 99% of the time since the cops were like supermen drivers and they were too annoying to be fun. Otherwise, cars were used just to move from point A to point B, get a mission and complete it by more driving from point B to C, D, etc. I never really understood why they implemented it in the game. Other than the racing mission early in the game, the rest was just pointless.

The rest was fun, as I said before. Smiley
