The first SC game I played, and I thought it was pretty fun
as some reviewers said, instead of being forced to be sneaky in the shadows like a rat or some other vermin, you were more like a jaguar with a huge, fierce bite should you be found.
the singleplayer isn't overly long, quite a nice length actually, and it should be noted that it's like, half the game. if you play this, don't miss out on the completely separate coop campaign which can be played in split screen as well. that's actually where most of the challenges are, some parts were really hard, although it certainly helped that you can revive your partner.
