I hereby declare that "probably" means "must".
It's as understandable to me as a quantum physics essay is to a baboon.

Im guessing this has something to do with printing out your character in WoW? Which people dont want to do until they have a good character?

yep figure print is a "3d printing" service that makes small sculptures using resin layers. They offer it as a service to WoW players because once they've been able to do one, they've been able to adapt it to automatically work with WoW Models. 3D printing can be a nightmare to set up as there's lots of very technical crap thats hard to explain to people who haven't worked heavily with 3d animation before.
edit: on the WoW side of things, when you're levelling, your character can look really dorky and silly at times, hell mine still has a witches hat on (to be changed tonight) but once your character is well settled in they can look really cool and be something you'd be proud to have sitting on your desk. The figure print is a very limited service, IIRC about $130 and you have to win a raffle to be even eligible - one with 10 million entrants. So printing one out when you're still dorky and goofy is bad because the odds of you getting another shot when you look awesome is horribly small.

Trouble, find a female. A low power blower, with optional heating, perfect for you I think.

ah i see! as geeky as it sounds it also sounds pretty cool. A company next door to my university tech block can do a similar thing, make models or parts out of anything (to a point) i think. I remember them giving us a presentation when i started uni.

Is it the same kind of printing of that guy that draws furniture with a laser pen and then it comes out of a huge vat of plastic?

Ah well when you actually explain it, that is quite funny.
I want a cool figure, but I have nothing to model it on.

you can actually buy these printers, starting around $5,000 USD for a mid range model on par with the figureprinting service. Then they cost about $1 USD per cubic inch to craft stuff.

I was also after a couple of beers, which probably made it even funnier.
