Girls are terrible drivers Mikhail.

Yeah.... Though it's not that bloody hard. Right foot on break or accelerator, left on the clutch if you're switching, off if you're not. Its not rocket science. Viper is right, just go automatic. As much as it hurts you all to hear it, automatic is bloody simple. Its got its own little quirks but those can be overlooked. Of course there's always clutchless manual.... like one in M5... but you know... $$$

Ngh. First he's acting all "educated", telling us all off for caring about "little things" like spelling of words, and claiming that these are the petty things preventing us from curing disease. Next, he reveals all he wants is a full-auto car - although we all know even automatic transmission would be pointless if there were less retards in the world (not to mention that it's actually a cause for degraded performance when compared to manual transmissions). Further, he blows it all by referring to Napoleon I as a "small guy with a huge ego". First, Napoleon wasn't small - urban legend, smack bam right there. Second, he had every right to a huge ego after single-handedly winning victory upon victory against a united Europa, until at long, long last his army was worn too thin.

Actually that's not really true any more, modern automatic transmissions that simulate a manual shift are actually equally efficient. In any case my actual goal is teleportation - travelling the world in an instant is far better, but the amount of energy required seems impractical. But here's to hoping. The next best thing is a car that drives itself, then I can do as I please, on the trip. Read a book, play a video game, watch a film. Driving 8 hours to visit my mother is just such a waist of time. Driving is lame, and repetitive task like it should be automated.

With computers driving we could drive faster, safer, not worry about parking, plan to the minute how far a journey will take.

First, Napoleon wasn't small - urban legend, smack bam right there.
Nice. I love when myths are debunked.

Edit: Actually just looked this up extremely briefly, there still seems to be debate. So I have no opinion on the subject.

Half the time, getting to the place is all part of the fun.  I wouldn't want to just appear at a destination on the other side of the world, that would be really boring and destroy that feeling of 'going away'.

I agree with Hali, plus I enjoy driving... Especially driving around areas I have never been before, down the back lanes etc...

Although I do despise motorway traffic jams (I dislike other traffic jams, but not quite so much).
