That reminds me of the fact how incredibly ugly the FPS games looked back in the day! Smiley

True, but the FMV bits in this look interesting.

I play Doom MP every now and then, since it's portable and doesn't require heavy resources. I wouldn't normally play any fps before COD1, even if they have enhanced engine ports. Still waiting for the hires texture pack for Deus Ex 1 to be done in order to finish that game!

Deus Ex was indeed quite stellar but its engine's quite clunky even when it first came out.. Too bad the HDTP project seems dead in the water.

Gagh! I didn't know you could turn the zombie back onto a human. TYhat's why I rejected the kind offer of a zombie wife. I tried a pirate wife, but the game kept crashing whenever I tried to propose (much like real life) !

Cannon Fodder was and remains a highly playable classic from the folks at Sensible Software. I'm playing this on the DS via emulation and it lends itself well to the small screen. A funny satire of war and a memorable intro song, sadly don't make up for the lack of music during the missions. At least the Sega Megadrive port didn't have any in-game music.

Sensible War, as I used to call it. Agreed, one of the all time classics that are always playable!

Same here. Sorry Bashy, but you seem to be the only one around here giving thumbs up for that game. And indeed, you've done that for many years.

I loved Deus Ex for the record. I thought it was one of the finest games I ever played back in 2001.

I even didn't mind the very lackluster deus ex 2.
