And post it on the frontpage. Access 1000+ list will help out a lot, and we should include screenshots, plus a short description, plus the optimal platform for the game to be played on (if it's indeed multiplatform). I could contribute Sega games (or games released on their platforms), and likewise Access can contribute Nintendo stuff, plus niche platforms/titles (like the 3DO and 32X).. Anom could work on Amiga hits as well. However we lack experts on legacy MAME and handhelds, seeing that gaming almost spans three decades now. The 80s also isn't my strongest area, and to be frank Japanese-only releases remain a bit of a mystery (since there are tons of them)

Another issue that needs to be determined is whether we classify games according to genre or that we do a timeline from the very beginning, till the current stage (though I doubt we can call PS2 or GC "retro" yet - instead we could stop with the Dreamcast). I think we also need to avert from generating a "top XXX" list because many websites already have done that, and they usually miss a lot of the lesser known titles. They also tend to have a bit too narrow definition of what "Retro" is. Earthworm Jim is just as retro as Galaga, even if both are more than a decade apart.

FIne, I'll do this guide at my leisure. Perhaps by the time I'm done the games will be back online? Tongue
