One of the arabic Parliament Members, Azmi Bshara - who seems to not give a damn about his position, has said in his last visit in Lebanon -
"Israel is the greatest con done in daylight in the 20th century. I will never acknowledge zionism even if all the arabs will. We won't give up Palestine."

"The israeli-palestinian conflict is not a demographic conflict, but a national one. It's not a problem of 1.2 million palestines living in Israel, they are like all arabs, only the were forced an israeli citizenship. We are the original people of palestine, not those who came from Poland and Russia."

He also addressed Israel and said "Give us palestine, and take your democracy. We, the arabs, don't want it."

And now for my vent:

I can't believe this moronic country lets a dog like that be in our parliament.
I can't think of one normal country that would let someone like that be one of its representatives and law makers.
The guy should be thrown in a jail confinement, and tortured. That is something that we need to learn from the russians sometime... BAH!
If this idiot represents anyone, then the people he represents should be thrown in jail too, or at least be put on a rocket to Syria.

Actually there's popular belief that granting Palestinians their own state alongside Israel would solve most of the serious problems, and thus you wouldn't get to hear Arabs 48 ranting about it as much in the Knesset. Till we get to that point however I expect more escalation on all fronts.

The fact he's actually a member of the parliament pisses me off.

He lives off our money and our taxes, gets pretty much everything from this country... If he wants, he can go live in Lebanon.

I don't mind as much leftists saying things in the parliament. But this is a pure exaggeration.

Let's see him say similiar things about Syria, Lebanon, Jordan or Egypt. Then he'll decide how he prefers to live.
