Why is the amount of time we have to edit a post so short? I recommend it be extended to at least 12 hours...

AT least 12 hours??? Thats just stupid. 20 minutes should be more than enough time.
I remember before when there was no limit and things just got stupid when posts were continually changing.

well i just think it would be nice to have a bit longer to edit a post... i just thought it would save time of mods having to take requests to edit posts for people...

Its been argued before, time after time.. after time... after time....... etc.. etc..
although i kinda agree it sucks the time...
You could.......... make sure the post is correct? Thats why they have a preview button.. etc... sometimes edits in posts are because of pure laziness when making a post

Nope. This has been brought up again and again and again - Originally it was about 2 minutes, then 5, and now I think it's at 10 minutes. If you can't find the time to edit your post in 10 minutes, oh well. Use the preview beforehand if it frequently happens to you.

nah, thats the thing, it rarely happens... which is why ive never brought it up b4... but in a thread i made today i forgot to add in australia, and it was more than 10 minutes later when Access told me..
Simple mistake... but i do agree, it is very annoying when people change their posts after you have replied to make u sound like an idiot...
