this game is "an action space simulation"; I've read that for creating some planets in the game are used real pics taken with many NASA, ESA, etc. equipment, so when you play the mission near the Mars, you can actually see Marineris valley!!! :eek

I want that game!!! now!!!!!!

damn... Cheesy

how come I don't have it?? because I haven't found any place to... buy... it from... yet;

so, how's the game like? is it worth playing? I mean, it doesn't have to be some super-duper-mega-holy game to be worth playing, IMHO; it's a space shooter, for God sake, and I adore that!!! :upside

I didn't play it much, but from what I saw - it looked good! It reminded me a bit of Rebel Assault, but with much more freedom Cheesy

Here, look at this:

Zel: That's becoming more and more usual; my lil' brother has a PS2, with this Time Splitters 2 game, and I'm positive the planet hovering about in the final level is an actual picture of Mars.

When seeing the name of the thread I was hoping that this game was some kind of modern Privateer-type of game, but from what I read here, it appears to be just a usual arcade space simulator. Oh well...

MheAd, I read somewhere that there's going to be a sequel of X2: the threat; don't know if you've played it, but I did like it, and it's the kind of game you're looking for; any ways, X3 is going to be the hell of the game, as I've read, if they don't spoil anything;

and yeah, you're right about SI: PF - it's just a spce shooter, good for relaxing...

Oh yes, X2 was awesome game, too bad I never played much of it. It was just the way I liked it - great space sim with many elements of strategy and even a business sim!

X3 will be grand!
