I have had this problem for couple of days now.
When I try to login to my MSN-messenger I get a message that "I've already logged in to my MSN-account from another computer" (?!?!?) so I should click on "OK" to continue logging in (and logging out from that "computer").

What the hell is this? Is it something wrong with my MSN program or is this just another Hotmail-server bug like other ones that were causing trouble a month ago?

That normally means someone else is using your MSN or Windows Messenger has you signed in.

Hmm...the problem seems to be the old (built-in) version of MSN running somehow in the background. It's weird cause I never had any problems with it before (I didn't even touch it) but now it's running. The even more weird thing is that I don't see the icon of it in sys-tray.

The reason I know that it's running is because now when I started my WindowsXP I got a pop-up with "You have e-mail" although I didn't logon to my normal MSN.
How can I turn this shit off?

Heh...this is weird. The problem seems to have disapeared by itself this morning. But I sure will remember that link you posted, man. It looks like a possible solution of this kind of problem repeats itself.

Now that the problem returned this morning I decided to use the solution that's explained on the link you posted, Space. And it DID work. Now the crap has been totally removed from the computer.
It's really amazing what things/solutions you are able to find on the net, man. Smiley Thanks one more time!
