I turn 30 this year - beat that!

Well, it seems to be working. Just installed virtual guest on my Linux of Win7 Professional x64, and validated it successfully using my original key.

This also makes me thinking of Ultimate-version. Technically. what are differences between Pro / Ult versions?

Is Ultimate also more of a resource hog in any way?

Yesterday it was really cold up here in Stockholm, only 5C...grey and rainy.
Today it's 12C and sunny - real spring feeling.
April and May can be really messy in Sweden sometimes...temperatures can be going up and down like roller coaster. Few weeks ago it was nearly 20C and it felt the summer was near. And yesterday it felt like it was November or something. Schizo-weather.

Errr...I'm pretty much sure I posted something here last night?
Who's the responsible national socialistic admin for removal of my post? Freulein Hali?
Whoever did it - just because some of us don't share your shitty taste of music and the degenerated preferences of "popular culture" doesn't give the right to your tiny persona to remove other peoples posts.

Well, if 32-bit XP could allocate entire range of 4GB ram, believe me, I would stick to XP! The best Windows OS ever - although it took them 10 years to make it that way (with millions of patches) Smiley

32-bit Linux can actually allocate more than 3.5 GB via PAE. I'm, however, ditching 32bit OSs soon either way, and switching to 64 bit Linux and Win7.

But watching that video clip - there seems to be frame rate issues on XB360 version too.

I do have a clean VLK copy of Win7 but it's x86 and I have no ability to get my hands on the 64-bit version - thus this "project" here that I'm trying.

Yep, it is the VLK...no doubt about that, originally obtained for a copy of x86 Professional version of Win7.
So can I basically install *any* Win7 version and use this key? Even those warez-ones, but instead of cracking them just installing them properly and use this key?

Maybe I'll give it another shot when I upgrade to a better graphic card. I feel that Crysis Warhead ran better at some points than G.Busters even though the game hasn't brought any stunning graphics. I remember in that part of the game (pretty much on the beginning) when you were in museum catacombs of some kind and this flood started with a lot of fog - it was like a slide show, bellow 30 fps, on my GF 8800 GT, a card that still performs quite good on most of the recent games! G.B. is simply badly optimized and I believe I even read about some frame-rate issues on PS3 version too.

... it wouldn't surprise me if you suddenly went amish on us!

Nah, it's just that I'm a man of principles. You wouldn't possibly understand! Tongue

I'm pretty sure this key won't be blacklisted.
I cannot tell here (just in case) where it is from - but it's a "single-key-for-many-users" type of key, so it won't be anything weird in the fact that people are actually using it on many different computers!

I don't agree. It sucks, is repetitive and is quite badly optimised.
44  Games, Help... / Technical Help / Can I validate Win7 64bit with a key from x86 version? on: May 01, 2010, 01:22:04 PM
I've kind of "borrowed" a key for validation of x86 Professional version of Win7.
If I download one of those try-out ISOs of 64bit Professional version, do you think it will be possible to make it valid with this key?

I've only owned 2 mobile phones in my entire life. The first time I got one was in spring of 2006. I didn't have a mobile before that - no kidding!
